Geo Grade 10

Grade 10, Geography-Europe and Asia Open CGU 231
Not a day goes by in which your life is not touched in some way by events which occur in Europe
and Asia. In this course, constantly revised and updated to fit a changing world, you will explore the
incredible diversities of Eurasia - crowded cities and vast open spaces, fascinating cultural differences, extreme wealth yet absolute poverty, the tallest mountains and the lowest seas. The skills and knowledge gained will assist you in acquiring a more accurate picture of your connections to the change and contrast in the world's largest land mass. At Anderson, students in this course explore the foods, cultures, sports, games and destinations of the 81 countries spread over Europe and Asia. Field trips are essential to experiencing this diversity and many hands on activities are spread throughout the course.
